Used to come here when Hubbys but stopped as standard was low! noticed it had changed hands to Wards so gave it a go! Soo glad I did taste just like seaside fish and chips Beautiful I’ve tried all local fish and chips and this one is the best by far yes it’s not cheap ( it not the most expensive either) but I’m Not driving a hour to coast to get same taste, I’ll give it 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had 2 large cod and a shared portion of chips, cost just less than £19. Delicious fish and tasty chips. Service was with a smile!

First time to Huby's Fish Bar and it wont be the last. We have just moved into the area and were not dissapointed. Great value for money, the fish was fresh and batter crispy and the chips very tasty. Even my fuss girls loved the fish and chips. Will defianlty be a regualr here - thanks so much ☺

Traditional food served fresh and to order. Brilliant quality and excellent service. Best I've tasted as it takes me back to my childhood when fish and chips were so tasty, just like you produce. Will recommend to anyone who wants amazing food at great prices. You always pay that little bit more for quality and you won't be disappointed. Give them a try, you'll be back for more.

Called today on speck and found it to be a good old fashioned Chippy! Staff are very pleasant and I had fish chips and peas. The fish must have been swimming this morning it was that fresh! It was delicious 😋. Great location on the main road into Thurnscoe with parking outside. Well worth it, and we'll definitely be going back now we've discovered it

No matter what I get from here its always amazing. Whether it's the large fish and chips, scampi or scallops, the quality is always worth the trip from grimethorpe. The curry sauce is unreal As well. Staff are friendly and prices are brilliant.

Best fish n Chips in Thurnscoe by far, only downside is you have to wait for fish, as cook to order but totally understand why they do it.
